Restaurant Rafi

Rafi is this cozy Italian place almost right across the street, one of my go-to spots in the Jordaan. It’s super authentic, the homemade pasta never disappoints, and their veggie pizza is my absolute favourite. Sometimes I just pick one up and eat it sitting by the canal. Pure joy..

Bruno’s Amsterdam

I stop by Bruno’s almost every morning, it’s only a 3-minute walk from here. The coffee’s great, no fuss, just how I like it. Their Neapolitan espresso is made like they do it in Naples, with beans roasted over oakwood , a method that goes back centuries.

Saint-Jean

Right around the corner you’ll find Saint-Jean. It’s an all vegan Bakery. Their pistachio cruffin is really good, so full of flavour. It’s gotten super popular lately though, so there’s often a line. But if you catch it when it’s quiet, definitely go for the croissant too. You won’t regret it.

Cafe de Palm

A super fun new spot in the Jordaan with a relaxed, local vibe. I love coming here for coconut yogurt with muesli in the morning, especially when the sun’s out and I can sit on the terrace.

Fun fact: I actually helped set this place up back in the day, when it used to be my local bar. Now it has a lovely new owner and a beautiful new look.

I’ve always loved palm trees (hence the name) and if you’ve seen the giant one outside my door, yep… that’s no coincidence 😉

Café Winkel 43

Just a 5 minute walk from where I usually hang out, Winkel 43 is my go-to for apple pie. You can sit outside with a coffee and enjoy the view over the lively Noordermarkt, such a nice little spot.

Noordermarkt

On Saturdays, the Noordermarkt turns into one of my favourite places in the city. You’ll find everything from fresh veggies and vintage clothes to homemade soap and warm stroopwafels, it’s got such a nice vibe! And lots of locals :)

On Mondays, the Noordermarkt turns into a treasure hunt with vintage clothes, antiques, and random little gems. It’s the kind of market where you never know what you’ll find, and that’s exactly the fun of it.
